PRACTICE AREAS
MONITORING
REGULATORY
Today, it is increasingly important to monitor and follow the development of public policies and the drafting of rules and regulations with an impact on the digital industry. This is achieved through the monitoring of draft laws, regulations, Supreme Court decisions and/or other public policies with an impact on the technology sector in the countries of the region, as well as early warnings of such measures.
An adequate regulatory monitoring service is essential for any company that wants to invest and operate in a responsible and sustainable manner in the region, or for chambers and other entities in the sector that want to monitor or control the actions of governmental, parliamentary and judicial authorities.
We offer a detailed analysis of the legal impact and political viability of potential regulatory scenarios and actions, based on legislative monitoring in the national congresses of different Latin American countries, as well as in the bodies of other branches of the national states.
The scope of the monitoring includes the National Congresses, unicameral or bicameral, and their committees acting in their respective parliamentary treatments, as well as the ministries, secretariats and other executive branch bodies that have an impact on issues affecting the digital environment. In addition, we add relevant information from the judiciary, mainly from the Supreme Court, on issues of interest.
