Legal and public policy expertise with a strategic vision and a drive for transformation
Maryva was born from the alliance of professionals with backgrounds in law, policy, business, and technology. We combine solid academic training with hands-on experience advising innovative companies in highly competitive, fast‑changing environments.
Our practice is fueled by a deep understanding of the challenges faced by those who innovate, create, and transform. That’s why we offer more than advice on legal and public policy matters: we act as true strategic partners, with commitment, clarity, and forward‑thinking.
Global Regulation, Innovation & Legal Strategy
Silvana co‑founded Maryva with the conviction that law should not hinder innovation but strategically support it. She holds a law degree from the University of Buenos Aires and a master’s degree in IT and Data from the London School of Economics, in addition to two earlier master’s degrees in corporate law and intellectual property and innovation from Universidad de San Andrés. She combines legal practice, regulatory analysis, and public‑policy experience.
For over a decade, she has advised technology companies on intellectual property, privacy, and regulatory compliance. Her public‑sector background and academic research strengthen her ability to anticipate trends, structure regulatory strategies, and turn legal frameworks into growth drivers.
At Maryva, she leads complex projects with an integrated vision, helping clients expand with solidity and confidence.
Intellectual Property, Contracts & Knowledge Economy
Marcos brings to Maryva an expert, results‑oriented perspective on the most valuable assets of any business: its ideas. A specialist in copyright and industrial property, he holds a law degree from Universidad de Belgrano and has been a registered Patent and Trademark Agent with the INPI since 2009.
Throughout his career, he has advised technology and creative companies on protecting intangibles, negotiating strategic agreements, and securing benefits under the Knowledge Economy regime. His software‑industry experience and tenure at specialized law firms position him as a key ally for structuring innovative ventures on a solid legal foundation.
At Maryva, he heads the Intellectual Property & Knowledge Economy practice, helping clients protect, manage, and scale their innovations.
